Thank you for your Trust!
If you know us, you know that we always like to find ways to "Pay It Forward." It's part of our agency's mission to volunteer and to give.
So, this Thanksgiving, we decided to do something a little different. McClain Insurance team members have identified a charity that reflects their passions. Agency clients and friends have been invited to vote for their favorite, and based on their votes, we’ve distributed a $ 5,250 Holiday Gift!
Over 1,140 clients, friends and team members have voted, and we are excited to present the winners:
1st Place ($1,500 donation):
Pasado's Safe Haven (Samantha McCracken)
2nd Place ($1,000 donation):
Rebuilding Together Seattle (Claudia McClain)
3rd Place ($750 donation):
Big Brothers - Big Sisters of Snohomish County (Nick Pembroke)
4th Place ($500 donation):

Many thanks to all who voted!
It's an honor to be part of so many great causes this Holiday Season!
"This organization brings together the community to help make repairs to low-income homes. PEMCO and Holy Names Academy (where my daughter works) have provided volunteers for years. This program coincides perfectly with our agency's goal of helping families stay safe, warm and protected."

"BBBs provides support to kids and families at local schools by identifying the most needy kids and providing school based support, mentoring, camp scholarships during the summer, YMCA memberships, and food. I've been part of the Madison School Reading Program for years."

"My daughter-in-law is a nurse at Seattle Childrens' Hospital and I've heard first hand the stories of families who are supporting a beloved child through illness, surgeries and healing. My heart goes out to them! The Ronald McDonald House provides a safe haven for those families."

"This charity delivers holiday stockings filled with new gifts and useful essentials to homeless children ages birth to 17 years who live in and out of shelters in the Puget Sound Area. Throughout my childhood, my mom adopted a family at Christmas and growing up, I remember going to pick out gifts for other little girls and boys."

"I cannot imagine what it must feel like to be afraid in your own home. Afraid to speak, laugh or even sleep for fear of being beaten, threatened or even killed. DVS is committed to providing a safe, supportive refuge and appropriate services for all victims while facilitating social change."

"Pasado's Safe Haven is a local animal sanctuary that rescues all kinds of animals. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens, turtles, you name it! They really touched me when I got my cat from them 2 years ago just before Christmas. They give a voice to neglected, abused and forgotten animals who otherwise don't have a voice."

Stanwood Elementary Art Program
"Budget cuts and academic achievement pressures have pushed the arts at elementary schools into the background. With three kids at Stanwood Elementary, I was honored to accept the volunteer position of art docent, bringing together teachers, students, volunteers, local and native artists to facilitate art at our elementary school."
