Nick Pembroke, CIC, CISR, joined McClain Insurance in 2000 after attending Western Washington University. Over the past 25 years, he’s evolved from receptionist to co-owner and agency principal of McClain Insurance.

Nick is a Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Insurance Service Representative, 10-time Five Star Home/Auto Insurance Agent award winner, and past president of the Snohomish County Independent Insurance Agents. He serves on number of industry advisory groups, including the PEMCO Advisory Board and Agency Zoom User Group, and as a Safeco Advisory Council Constituent Agent.

He’s also received many prestigious awards from our insurance company partners including the Safeco S.O.A.R. Award, which acknowledges his diligence, integrity, and passion for excellence. “It’s important to me to educate clients on what insurance can do for them, so they are truly protected when the unexpected happens,” says Nick.

Nick’s life revolves around his family. He enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and exploring with his wife, Meghan, their two children and their two dogs. Nick is also an avid trail runner and has completed multiple ultra-marathons and triathlons, including several 100-mile trail races. He's also an assistant coach for his son's Little League team.

For more than 10 years, Nick served as an elementary school reading club leader with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County. He served on the BBBS Board of Directors for many years and was chosen as their program volunteer of the year for 2020. Nick is an active volunteer in his kids' schools, serving as the outdoor classroom guide for many years.
